On March 7th, Bison Labs announced the completion of its Pre-Seed funding round, aiming to pioneer a Bitcoin Layer 2 network with Trustless and on-chain sovereignty Rollup solutions. The funding round was led by Portal Ventures, with participation from UTXO Fund, Domo (creator of BRC-20), Linus Chuang (Chief Product Officer of Magic Eden), Waterdrip Capital, Bitcoin Startup Labs, Satoshi Lab, and other strategic investors.
Bison is a cutting-edge rollup amplifying transaction speeds, while enabling advanced functionalities on native Bitcoin.
Taproot Labs announced that it has secured a joint strategic investment from Waterdrip Capital, Satoshi Lab, and Negentropy Capital.
Taproot Labs focuses on developing Bitcoin application layer Layer 2 and a multi-chain asset trading platform based on the Lightning Network Taproot Assets Protocol. Currently, it has launched two product lines, Taproot Chain and Taproot Exchange. Taproot Labs aims to provide a stable, high-speed, and secure application layer solution for the BTC ecosystem.
On March 4th, the BTC Layer 2 network, Mirror L2, announced the completion of its first funding round. The specific amount has not been disclosed at this time. The funding round saw participation from UTXO (the investment arm of Bitcoin magazine), Conflux, and IMO Ventures.
